Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s, where our founders, Will and Andy, travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale, which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there, they began designing reworked vintage pieces, and thus, Motel was born.

Over 30 years and a team of 200+ people later, every piece of clothing we make is created with the same spirit of fun, freedom and adventure as the road trip that first defined the brand. We’re still ambitious and independent, but now we’re a global team - we work from an operational base in Worcester, a design studio in London and a creative studio in Bali.

The role

The role is responsible for managing accurate product builds and New-In item creation in NetSuite, ensuring all product data, purchase orders, and attributes are correct and aligned with the range plan, timelines, and vendor requirements. This position acts as the coordination bridge between vendors, development, merchandising, production, accounting, and marketing to ensure smooth product setup, timely go-live, and resolution of any item or pricing discrepancies.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Assist in preparing prices for sign-off by comparing the price with similar shapes in the same fabric or other similar shapes. Screenshot the comparison in MR on the order slide, including the suggested RRP and the aimed margin (70%).

• Communicate with the Development team regarding item details.

• Fill in the HS codes for new quotations added by Development to DVL Costing and for Range on Sales List 2025.

• Build items (fast/range) and occasionally assist with building SMU items in the NetSuite system.

• Revise RRP, FOB price, HTS code, and update or inactivate items as needed due to changes or cancellations. Update Z codes on the sales list and range plan.

• Check and upload attributes for Fast & Range items to NetSuite after building. Manually enter the size details for items.

• Raise Fast and Range of New in POs for Dashitou & Sanbai after sign-off meetings, and assist other teams in creating POs for other vendors.

• Update the ex-factory date and aim go-live date in NetSuite via mass upload after receiving confirmation from vendors.

• Assist in Update the ex-factory date, late reason, and comments for Sanbai & Dashitou New In POs as informed by PL verify team

• Assist in update the aim go-live date for New In POs in the Delivery Schedule when needed.

• Assist in check the approval date for items on Gifting PO requests, communicate with the vendor regarding item details and delivery dates, and track the tracking number.

• Collect quotations from China vendors , copy them to the quotation sheet, and notify the team if any price changes are found.

• Adding MRI information to DVL Costing collect from Range Plan & MRI costing, including adding Zcode to MRI Costing it's for sign off meeting preparation

• Assist in updating the approval date and patchwork tapestry in the NetSuite system.

About you

• 2–3 years experience in administration, garment costing, product development, or merchandising.

• Strong understanding of garment construction and pricing

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems (preferred).

• Good analytical skills and high attention to detail.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Good communication and ability to work cross-functionally
