Welcome to Motel

Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s, where our founders, Will and Andy, travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale, which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there, they began designing reworked vintage pieces, and thus, Motel was born.

Over 30 years and a team of 200+ people later, every piece of clothing we make is created with the same spirit of fun, freedom and adventure as the road trip that first defined the brand. We’re still ambitious and independent, but now we’re a global team - we work from an operational base in Worcester, a design studio in London and a creative studio in Bali.

The role

Our Security staff are critical to ensuring that our company sites remain safe and secure, as well as providing an important role in helping to welcome visitors, report any incidents and ensure that procedures are accurately followed.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Ensuring optimum security for company facilities, equipment, and property.
• Inspect and record all guests, employees, or vehicles entering and exiting the work area.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Perform routine patrols throughout the work area to ensure safety and order.
• Report any incidents or potential threats to supervisors or relevant authorities.
• Handle emergency situations, such as fires, evacuations, or other threats.
• Secure evidence if an incident occurs within the work area.
• Prepare daily reports on security incidents and activities.

About you

• Work experience in the security field is preferred
• Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent
• A security training certificate, e.g. Grada Pratama
• Flexibility to be placed according to company needs
